Ozone type

  • Bulb type:UVC + Ozone (generating O³)
  • UV Wavelength: 185 nm
  • Function: Sterilization and odor removing
  • Advantage: Deeper disinfection and wider reach due to ozone gas can distribute to each corner of a room and remove harmful smell from the room without blocking by obstable in the room.
  • Disadvantage: Ozone cleaning will leave special O³ smell in the room where needs to be ventilated after sterilization as Ozone gas is harmful to respiratory system.
  • Application: washroom, kitchen,pet house,etc,where requires better sterilization.

O³(Ozone):a colorless gas soluble in alkalis and cold water; a strong oxidizing agent; can be produced by electric discharge in oxygen or by the action of ultraviolet radiation on oxygen in the stratosphere

  • UV Wavelength: 254 nm
  • Function: Sterilization
  • Advantage: Effective sterilization and doesn't leave any smell. Shorter ventilation time.
  • Disadvantage: Does not remove bad smell from a room and cannot eliminate the virus,bacteria,fungus and bugs behind the shelter because UVC light can be blocked by obstacle.
  • Application: bedroom, living room where people have frequently activity.

HOW does the UV-C disinfection lamp work?

Ultraviolet(UV) light is a form of electromagnetic radiation that falls in the region between visible light and X-rays. The wavelength of invisible radiation is from 100nm to 400nm while UVC light spectrum is between 100 nm and 280 nm. UVC at germicidal wavelengths of 254nm has maximal damage to microorganism's DNA/RNA making it cannot reproduce any more. UVC disinfection is used throughout the world in many applications for effectively sterilise atmosphere,killing bacteria, virus, mites, allergic source,fungi and etc.

  • 1. Make sure no humans, pets and plants in the room during UV sterilizing.
    Human protection feature of motion sensor type(radar sensor): the lamp will turn off automatically when people get close within about 3 meters.The lamp will turn on again after people go away from it for more than 3 meters.
  • 2. Place the UVC disinfection lamp at a appropriate height in the centre of a room where UV-C light can reach most of the space in this room.
  • 3. Set disinfection auto-off timer, which can be 15/30/45/60 min.Turn on the UVC disinfection lamp. The lamp has around 10 second delay for the operator to evacuate the room.
  • 4. After complete disinfection, the room gets clean.
  • 5. Ventilate the room for about 15-20 min to scatter odor in the room (if user used Ozone type disinfection lamp) .
  • 6. Caution! Do not stare at the UVC light or stand in front of light for too long because too much exposure of ultraviolet light can cause skin suntan, sunburn,serious conjunctivitis,even blindness.
